It is a story of family enterprise, courage, ups and downs, long relationships and a stubbornness in the family’s own style.
With that stubbornness and calculated risk-taking, Juhani Aho built a solid foundation on which his son Antti Aho was able to grow the medical centre into a company operating across the country.

Around 40 former and current Aava people were interviewed for the book: doctors, nurses, owners, partners and stakeholder representatives. The book also draws on archive material and the personal memories of the Aho family.
